Responsibilities:

• The Special Inspection Agent (SIA) shall supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensure client\'s specifications and requirement are met, reviewing progress and liaising with Design Builder and General Contractor.
• The Special Inspection Agent (SIA) shall coordinate inspection services with the Owner and Design Builder and /or General Contractor.
• Responsible to oversee field inspection activities involved in the project, supervision of the day to day inspections, scheduling, and advise the client Quality Assurance (QA) Manager of information priorities and project issues.
• Ensure all personnel are compliant with client Intellectual Property (IP) guidelines and that all personnel are safe and compliant with all applicable safety standards and regulations required.
• The SIA shall audit the existence and completeness of the examination checklists in addition to inspecting that the work has been performed by the contractor per Code and Contract Documents.
• Responsible for Testing and Inspection Reports, weekly progress report, punch list report, non-conformance reports (NCR) etc
• Maintaining quality control procedures and processes.
• Experience in construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning stage

Qualifications

• Civil/structural/architectural technician or equivalent. Candidate must have at least 5 years site based construction experience with at least 10 years working experience in related field.
• Past experience as Site Manager or Construction Manager in building construction, manufacturing plant, factory etc are preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change.
