Work with and teach children with special needs and disabilities Create and apply appropriate curricula and assign activities that are specific to each student\xe2\x80\x99s abilities and needs. Teachers also involve each student\xe2\x80\x99s academic, social and behavioral development The teacher will assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each individual student. The Individualized Education Program is designed to create individual goals for the student and is modified to the student\xe2\x80\x99s abilities and needs Teachers can work independently to go over the IEP with the child\xe2\x80\x99s parents. They work very closely with parents to keep them updated on progress and make recommendations to promote learning in the home. Select teaching methods and support resources to enable individual learners to maximize their potential for independent living Requirement: Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent in Special Education/Teaching/ Psychology or any related field of study An added advantage for those that have at least 1-year working experience in the related position Required to communicate in Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia Preferably with working experience in the related field, however fresh graduates with a passion for teaching special needs children are welcome A positive, passionate, learning attitude is a must!
