OB PURPOSE The Specialist, Impact Office, is responsible to support the Director, Impact Office, on the overall implementation of Taylor\'s Purpose Learning with Impact Labs and the effective operation of the Impact Office. Specifically, the Specialist is responsible to implement public relations and communication strategies to advocate for Taylor\'s Purpose Learning with Impact Labs. In addition, the Specialist is responsible to function as an enabler so that the Impact Labs can function effectively to make a positive impact on society. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES Communicate Taylor\'s Purpose Learning and Impact Labs internally and externally to gain credibility, visibility and support, through managing the various communication channels Support the Impact Lab Directors to create visibility of Impact Labs, impact projects and living labs on and off campus Ensure Taylor\'s requirements to operationalize Purpose Learning with Impact Labs are communicated to relevant stakeholders. Track and report the progress of Taylor\'s impact through the Impact Labs internally and externally including publishing an annual impact report Be a point of reference for enquiries from internal staff and external organisations Be a resource centre for impact labs focusing on common and regular resources needed by the impact labs Assist the Director to benchmark and institutionalise good strategies and practices to advance the Purpose Learning with Impact Labs initiative Support the Impact Lab Directors to establish targeted partnerships with external organisations for education, research and advocacy purposes Carry out any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time JOB SPECIFICATIONS MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION Bachelor\'s degree. Preferably a Master\'s degree.
