Role Purpose
Airline Partnerships is a strategically important pillar within Malaysia Airlines, driving Commercial and Revenue initiatives by developing and strengthening our global network of airline partners. This team plays a central role in ensuring the airline achieves sustainable growth by maximizing partnership revenues, securing competitive agreements, and creating new opportunities in the marketplace.
As a Specialist, Interline & Codeshare, you will be at the forefront of these efforts. You will support in managing and negotiating agreements, analyse performance data, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver measurable results. This role requires someone who is not only analytical and detail-oriented but also commercially savvy, adaptable, and able to influence outcomes in a dynamic business environment.
Key Accountability

• Support daily management of interline, SPA, and codeshare agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams and partner airlines on flight schedules, annexes, and seasonal changes.
• Monitor the performance and strategic value of existing partnerships.
• Analyse partnership performance data, assist and prepare the regular reports.
• Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide data insights to support business cases and performance reviews.
• Assist in preparing and updating contracts, annexes, and renewals, etc.
• Maintain accurate, version-controlled records in SharePoint and internal systems.
• Perform checks to ensure compliance with policies and partnership terms as per company standards.
• Support Revenue Accounting in reviewing financial data and resolving discrepancies.
• Work closely with Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams, etc, to support partnership activities.
• Track timelines, follow up on deliverables, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Suggest process enhancements to improve efficiency and data transparency or tools to strengthen partnership monitoring and reporting

Qualification & Working Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Aviation, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in airline commercial, partnerships, or network management roles

Personality Traits/Skill and Knowledge * Possesses strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and communication skills, focused on delivering accurate and results-driven

• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, capable of preparing clear analyses, reports, and professional presentations.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is desirable but not a prerequisite and can support efficient data management and
• Demonstrates a proactive and innovative mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong team player with effective collaboration skills across internal departments and external airline partners.
• Displays sound negotiation awareness and the ability to support the execution of partnership agreements.
• Has a good understanding or willingness to develop knowledge of airline partnership operations, including interline, SPA, codeshare, joint ventures, and prorate methodologies.
