Specialist, Power BI Developer - Process and Strategy AP

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Solid-line Reporting: Head of Strategy & Market Intelligence AP
Contract type: 2 years contract

Goal of Position:

• Development and building of analysis services models, visual reporting by Power BI Systems
• Development, optimization, enhancement of new/existing processes and tools to lift further potentials in efficiency and/or cost reductions
• Expert for visual dashboard system and process related issues of any nature
• Assure the compliant implementation/application of existing/new purchasing visual dashboards

Job Responsibilities:

• Power BI Report development.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
• Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Should have an edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
• Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
• Very good communication skills must be able to discuss the requirements effectively with the internal & External teams.
• Consult AP/Subregional/Country Purchasing Management on process and system matters and changes/updates

*In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by his/her superior that are essentially related to his/her duties.

Your Professional Profile Should Include:

• University degree in Economics/Business Administration or Finance/Controlling or equivalent. Master
• Degree is a plus.
• Min 2-3 years\' work experience in Data specific roles focus on data analytical and visual reporting
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, MS-BI Stack and SAP.
• Experience within a network organization
• Possess with software development skills and good grip over data analytics
• Fluent in English
• High proficiency in verbally and written Communicating skills on an international basis
• High ability and willingness to approach other persons and cultures in an unbiased and open manner and to work with their opinions and expectations.
• Good interpersonal skills (curious, open minded, agility to engage people)
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Independent working style
