Job Description


1. Job Purpose

  • Support the implementation of the Social Development Projects in the operating area.
  • Be focal point of contact for all Social Development Projects and related reports.
2. Principal Accountabilities
  • Implement Social Development Projects procedures, standards, guidelines, and strategies across organizations to support PTTEP corporate direction and strategies.
  • Be a representative and focal point of contact to internal and external parties on Social Development Projects related matters.
  • Arrange and organize the logistics of all external and internal Social Development Projects and events in operating area and ensure that provisions of all necessities required to carry out any Social Development events are organized in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate the preparedness of venue and personnel for the event with authorities or persons in charge of the premises.
  • Update and maintain a complete database of all Social Development Projects and ensure that the information is accurate.
2.1 Principal Accountabilities (Cont\'d)
  • Provide input, assist in developing and implement Social Development Projects\' work plan, activities/events, and budget in accordance with corporate direction and FG\'s strategy to promote and strengthen good relationship with communities and government agencies.
  • Survey and record feedback from Social Development Projects\' stakeholders regarding the impacts of the projects with a view to improvement to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the projects.
  • Keep track and measure performance of Social Development Projects to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of all activities as well as provide proper action in emergency situations and prepare reports for supervisor and management.
  • Provide data and information on regular basis to Superior to support the reporting of Social Development Projects status, progress, budgets, and expenditures to Management.
  • Provide materials and coordinate with Communication Team for preparing news releases of company\'s ER events in a timely manner.
3. Professional Knowledge & Experiences
  • Diploma or Degree in social science and any related fields or equivalent with experiences
  • Minimum 5 years experiences in related field for Degree holder and 7-8 years for Diploma holder or equivalent with 15 experiences in related field
4. Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)
  • Have strong understanding in related local regulations, laws, government organization structure and interconnected authorities for large scale projects of offshore and onshore facilities.
  • Thorough understanding of project life cycle, the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
  • Stakeholder Management skills - Proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Very good in communication, coordination and organizing skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other in company and related stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills, integrity and problem solving in complex project and business environments.
  • Ability to mobilize to work in remote areas and at project areas.
4.1 Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities) Cont\'d
  • Ability to operate PC efficiently.
  • Service-minded, pleasant personality, good interpersonal communication skills and good Team Player
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Experience in executing any medium to large scale EPC project in Sarawak area is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience in Social Development Projects implementation for large scale Oil and Gas project in Sarawak is preference.
  • Sarawakian candidates are desirable or used to working in Sarawak.
5. Work Experiences
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related works
  • Used to work in external affairs or government liaison officer for large corporate organization.
