Job Description


Role Responsibilities

To perform direct closure of life insurance products via self-sourcing as primary role and referral from PsB, Premium, ARM & BB segments as secondary.

Strategy

  • Accountable to bring in direct insurance business revenue via self-closure as primary task
  • To understand customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and provide proper solutions based on need based selling
  • Actively support any referrals from ARM, PsB, BB and DSMS channel
  • Actively acquire new to product (NTP) clients via multiple communication methods (cold calling, e-mails, etc) and different channels (self-source, referrals, roadshows etc)
Business
  • Provision of wide range of bank\xe2\x80\x99s bancassurance products to existing and potential retail clients based on their needs.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities.
  • Manage and out serve retail clients and achieved the assigned revenue target
Processes
  • Work closely with the retail stakeholders and Insurance Service Provider (ISP) to ensure sales and service is provided to Retail Banking customers in line with Bank standards
  • Continuously attend training from time to time to keep own self updated with the industry and to fulfil licensing CPD/CPE requirements
Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with the Group\'s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and CDD
  • Participate in and/or support the Bank\'s effort in combating money-laundering activities.
  • Exercise due care and diligence on matters related to Money Laundering and CDD in the day to day operations, which include account opening and reviews, transaction monitoring, reporting suspicions, customer communication, implementing new requirements, updating and revising operating procedures, acquire relevant knowledge and training, provide support to superior
Governance
  • Ensure compliance with the Group\'s standards and regulatory requirements pertaining to Money Laundering and CDD
  • Participate in and/or support the Bank\'s effort in combating money-laundering activities.

  • Enhance own product\xe2\x80\x99s cross-selling capability by equipped own-self with required license to conduct such pitching such as IPPC, CB as an optional responsibility
Our Ideal Candidate

Qualifications
  • Possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Studies/Banking/Insurance or equivalent with necessary & relevant licenses.
  • Experience in insurance/finance/banking or sales industry.

  • Good organizational ability and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions.
  • Good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong negotiation skills and influencing skills to drive sales.
