Knowledge of work force optimization strategy and provide bespoke best practices from Industry, to provide optimized solutions for Core Infrastructure Services to meet the overall bank's target Work with cross regional teams in a matrix environment and be able to operate in a hub and spoke model in GBS and SG/UK locations Drive the implementation of the work force management strategy & framework Advise on and challenge work force management control and operational matters as required Drive initiatives to discover, assess and report on new and existing resource matters Delivering Operational Excellence through: Strong continuous improvement initiatives Effective processes, improved workflow design, and Lean initiatives KPI management and improvements . Our Ideal Candidate 3+ years in business management or work force management related positions, including time spent in project management. Ideally, the candidate experience will include time in a consulting or advisory capacity. Candidate must be able to demonstrate: Deep understanding of business management and work force strategies Experience in managing headcount management related matters Passionate about business management with a 'can-do' attitude Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and display initiative to lead discussions with stakeholders at all levels, business leaders and colleagues Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate work force management strategies & concepts to various stakeholders Strong control mindset and is confident to be the go-to person on work force matters Able to provide effective challenge and recommendations whilst building strong, respectful relationships across different functions / departments Ability to lead and motivate the teammates & colleagues to achieve tactical and strategic goals, team player mentality Thrive in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment where the day-to-day job differs About Standard Chartered We're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
