JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst, Sr - SAP PTP is the analysis and resolution of complex, cross-module, functional SAP issues in Procure to Pay Process. The role performs root-cause-analysis, targeted end-user training and provides consulting services to design/project/technical teams. This role will provide leadership and expertise to junior members of the team and drives identification of opportunities for the effective use of SAP-related technology and the implementation of SAP-related solutions.

Job Duties

  • Ensure service level management (SLA) compliance through the application of functional and technical expertise, delivering efficient application maintenance and support while confirming adherence to all business, compliance, security and regulatory requirements in a validated environment.
  • Functions as the primary production support contact for Operations (Materials Management, Quality Management, Purchasing, Distribution) and regulatory business user communities.
  • Monitors issue resolution progress and acts as a focal point for communication of steady-state and Hypercare activities and statuses.
  • Review the resolution and proposed solutions for business and technical impact and to determine if overall results and objectives have been achieved in accordance to the validation and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluates and decides on approval for moving support-driven changes to production.
  • Ensure change control, access control, and landscape management processes are followed.
  • Act as primary SAP support team Subject Matter Expert for SAP S/4 Supply Chain Operations that includes material management, quality management, distribution, and production planning.
  • Provide leadership across organizations related to SAP Global Production: support services and problem resolution.
  • Monitor system performance and system alerts and respond accordingly.
  • Serve as liaison between the support SAP team and other internal IT organizations and technical groups like BASIS and Development to resolve complex issues.
  • Monitor, document and respond to cross functional interdependencies, common implementation problems, and the opportunities for improvement resulting in successful Hypercare and efficient/effective transition to steady state post Go Live of major SAP projects, upgrades, rollouts and enhancements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization (Technical and Functional IT, customer, project, IT and executive leadership). Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
Minimum Education Qualifications/Experience
  • Experience in SAP S/4 Material Management, Quality Management, Purchasing, Distribution along with experience in project delivery of all phases of software development lifecycle.
Technical and Functional Experience Required

Comprehensive understanding of SAP-based Operations processes used in the company\xe2\x80\x99s business model.
  • Extensive configuration knowledge of SAP S/4 Operations and Source to Pay with integration of MM/FI/CO/SD/EWM
  • Professional working experience in SAP S/4 processes (i.e., Production Planning, Material Management, and Quality Management).
  • Thorough understanding and experience of Implementation and Support of SAP Planning, MRP (light), Distribution, and QM in SAP S/4 and able to perform relevant configurations.
  • Extensive SAP ECC interfaces and IDOC functionality, especially with respect to 3PL integration
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Purchasing functionality
  • Quality Management Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in:
  • Basic data (for example, material master, catalogs, inspection characteristics, inspection methods and sampling procedures).
  • Inspection planning (inspection plans, reference operation sets, material specifications).
  • QM in procurement.
  • QM in Sales and Distribution
  • Quality Information System
  • Dynamic modification of the inspection scope
  • Quality certificates
  • Quality notifications
  • Test equipment management
  • Materials Management Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in:
  • Batch Management and Serial Management
  • Purchase Orders and follow on functions.
  • Procurement with Scheduling agreement

  • Processing RFQ\xe2\x80\x99s and quotations
  • Intercompany stock transport orders
  • Purchase information records
  • PIR mass Loads
  • Goods receipt
  • SAP-MES interface (PI Exposure, IDOC process, IDOC Error Handling)
  • Expert in resolving activities like Middleware queue processing, IDOC monitoring and data replication issues.
  • Strong functional knowledge in integrating SAP PP/QM/MM solutions with 3rd party applications.
