Job Description

?Conducting design, review of supplier drawing, management of supplier and control and supervision for inspection, troubleshooting & commissioning of electrical and power generating equipment.

?Preparation of MR including technical screening on vendor's quotation.

? Evaluation & costing of equipment.

? Familiar with regulations and standard such as IEC, BS, Malaysia standard.

?Preparation of the schedule and price and calculation of necessary man power for design.

?Interface with internal (Mechanical / Piping / Civil Group) and external (consultant, supplier, customer and relevant authority).

?Preparation of proposal for consideration.

? Proposal and negotiation with customers.

?Understanding of general concept and management of electrical equipment such as

?High voltage switch gear (including connection with power grid)
?High voltage and Low voltage transformer
? Low voltage distribution panel Motor control center and Motor control panel
? Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (VVVF)
?Emergency Generator & Generator (Gas or Turbine)
?UPS
? Lighting equipment

?Preparation of design such as below items

?Single line diagram
?System configuration diagram for PLC network
? Motor list
?Logic (sequence) diagram for operation & interlock for MCC
?Layout drawing

? Cable route plan
?Earth design

? Understanding of the basic concept and calculation of the below items.

? Transformer capacity calculation
? Short circuit calculation
? Voltage drop calculation
? Cable sizing & Cable rack selection
? Power factor improve calculation
? Protection relay coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
