Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEIndividual contributor that works under limited supervision.Applies subject matter knowledge.Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.Responsible for maximising the effectiveness of the organisation\'s supply chain.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for analyzing and reviewing new and potential customers\' operational requirements.
- Prepare and review contracts (including solution designs, pricing and other information).
- Conduct contract negotiation with customers and suppliers.
- Act as a liaison on the operational/ infrastructure/ system requirements before and during the set-up and implementation of the agreed Logistics solution.
- Identify and explore potential business opportunities.
- Activities may include analysis, planning and forecasting in the areas of production, materials handling, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation and distribution.
