JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Reporting Analyst is an expert on operations and processes to be able to effectively drive data management, reporting and insights and act as the SPOC for the Asset Management team. They would leverage our existing reporting processes (Agile Reporting), technology (Vantage BI) and people (report analysts and tableau developers) implemented. The Analyst will work closely with the client account\'s Reporting & Analytics Lead but must be able to work independently. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares regular reports & meaningful analysis and responds back to client account leadership team & Asset Managers. Validate data between Portfolio systems periodically for accuracy. Regular creation of transaction project pipeline monthly 3 years out (bulk upload). Ad-hoc data requests, report preparation and analysis. Continuous evolution of intelligence dashboards & reports to make sure they are relevant/current, useful to different stakeholder groups on regional and global level as well as for client and CBRE users. Bring in ideas for data quality improvement of WIP system and take initiative to put them into practice. Support the budgeting process (preparation and consolidation of the budget files, sanity checks etc.) Coordinate publishing of CBRE-created dashboards (and later data feeds) into client tableau server to put straight into client hands. Marketing of intelligence products to the client Property team to raise awareness - knowledge sharing sessions, training on how to interrogate. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or portfolio specific training to co-workers. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE University degree or general education degree required plus a minimum of 5 to 10 years of data analytics related work experience, preferably including real estate industry. Track record of independent implementation and/or improvement of complex reporting tools and data analysis. Experience in working in an international environment preferable. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Ability to run video conference meeting & trainings with global attendance including necessary preparation and debriefing. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate cashflows and ideally understanding of P&L. REASONING ABILITY Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in stressful situations and adhere to deadlines. Ability to apply common sense to identify errors and process gaps. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products especially Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, complex formulas, Visual Basic macros, etc.). Ability to prepare reports with a professional look and feel ready for socialization with the client in a reasonable time frame. Ability to work well under pressure. Advanced organizational skills. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor and clients.
