Responsible for advanced interpretation of tool drawings for electroplating tools and tooling spares, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
Lead job planning, estimation, and optimization of machine tool hours for electroplating tool fabrication and maintenance activities.
Oversee process planning, including preparation of detailed process plans, sequencing of machine operations, and providing technical guidance to machine operators during machining and electroplating processes.
Ensure matching and assembly of tool parts in accordance with drawing specifications and quality standards.
Act as a technical lead and mentor, guiding and training local tool room machinists and engineers in Connector Electroplating Processes, tooling techniques, and best practices to build internal technical capability.
He will do the electrode planning using auto CAD for the tool parts that has to undergo electrode discharge machines.
Take ownership of maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of high-speed electroplating tools used in production.
Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve technical issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations for process standardization, risk mitigation, and long-term plating technology improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
