Work you\'ll do

Functional Tasks:
\xef\x81\xb1 To perform Engagement Management and Accounts Receivable invoice, collections and day-to-day transaction processing and ensuring delivery quality in terms of accuracy, completeness and timeliness on a daily basis.

  • Report on overdue invoices, initiate the dunning process and provide for bad debts.
  • Monitor and reconcile direct bank credits.
  • Prepare customer statement of accounts.
  • Process collections from customers, process debit and credit notes.
  • Coordinating with Cash Management team in Shared Services Centre (SSC) and Local Country on collection matters.
  • Coordinating with Accounts Payable team in SSC on group netting and intercompany reconciliation.
\xef\x81\xb1 Liaise with the Local Country on customer issues.
\xef\x81\xb1 To accurately process all Engagement Management and Accounts Receivable transactions within the given time frame.
\xef\x81\xb1 All transactions should be processed i.e. entered into SAP or rejected according to the established process and procedures.
\xef\x81\xb1 To ensure the accuracy and the completeness of the transaction processed.
\xef\x81\xb1 To monitor and process the urgent request before specified deadline.
\xef\x81\xb1 To be mentor for Executive to refer on SAP Engagement Management and Accounts Receivable functions.
\xef\x81\xb1 To conduct training for Executive on need basis.
\xef\x81\xb1 To coordinate and ensure month end activities related to Engagement Management and Accounts Receivable is executed on timely basis.
\xef\x81\xb1 Act as a back up for Team Lead on daily task and as when required.
\xef\x81\xb1 Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. review of executive processing during stabilisation period, back-up function, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
\xef\x81\xb1 To attend to SSC communication channels e.g. email.

\xef\x81\xb1 Resolve Local Country queries related to statement of accounts, invoices and collections information on a timely basis.
  • To coordinate and ensure that Executive attends to SSC communication channels promptly.
  • Identify queries and assign it to relevant executive to respond.
  • To guide executive on query resolution.
  • To coordinate and queries are attended to on timely basis and properly resolved.
Service Management and Continuous Improvement:
\xef\x81\xb1 Execute work in accordance with the service management framework by providing timely and accurate customer service.
\xef\x81\xb1 Review backlog and cycle time reports to improve process flow times.
\xef\x81\xb1 Minimize number of workflow escalations by ensuring all transactions are processed within agreed service timelines.
\xef\x81\xb1 Ensure queries from Local Country are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible and proactive manner.
\xef\x81\xb1 Identify, recommend and implement solutions in consultation with Finance Lead and Team Lead for continuous improvement opportunities.
\xef\x81\xb1 Update changes to process documentation when required.
\xef\x81\xb1 Assist in the preparation of training materials when required.
\xef\x81\xb1 Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer; sharing of resource, knowledge and experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained through any staff transition.
\xef\x81\xb1 Act as mentor to junior staff members to encourage good practice, team spirit and a quality-orientated approach.

Requirements

Education:
\xef\x81\xb1 A recognised Diploma or Degree in Finance & Accounting.

Working Experience:
\xef\x81\xb1 More than 3 years of working experience in Finance SSC using SAP System is desirable.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:
\xef\x81\xb1 Extensive and deep knowledge and understanding of Engagement Management (Sales and Distribution) and Accounts Receivable. Has applied skills in various working environment and may have trained or guided others in this area.
\xef\x81\xb1 Moderate exposure in other accounting functions. Has applied skills in other working environment.
\xef\x81\xb1 Has been trained and had extensive exposure in SAP accounting transactions. Has applied skills in various working environment and may have trained or guided others in this application.
\xef\x81\xb1 Has moderate experience in using MS office tools (MS Word and MS Excel). Understands basic concepts and application of the tool in day-to-day use. Has applied skill in working environment and may have trained or guided others in the application.
\xef\x81\xb1 Reads, writes and speaks fluent English and one of the following languages:
  • Bahasa Malaysia
  • Bahasa Indonesia
  • Thai
