We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our existing operations team to assist with accounting-related duties. Responsibilities

• Assist with completing month-end closing procedures, including full cycle accounting
• Prepare monthly reports and journal entries with careful consideration of input accuracy
• Review Trail Balance and associated Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Prepare recurring financial reports for senior leadership
• Perform monthly banking reconciliations
• Complete General Ledger maintenance
• Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain electronic fiscal files and records to document transactions
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles

Required Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s of Science degree in Finance or Accounting
• Prior history working as a Staff Accountant or related role
• Exposure to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Ability to identify and solve problems; to formulate ideas to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations
• Intermediate computer skills in Excel
• Strong Analytical and Communication Skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
