Client Background: leading analog/mixed-signal foundry manufacturing silicon wafers for analog-digital integrated circuits (mixed-signal ICs) Industry: Semiconductor Location: Kuching, Sarawak Position: Staff Eng. Automated Machine Handling System Tenure: Permanent JOB Responsibilities .Lead the AMHS implementation in the fab .Work with operation, industrial engineering and IT team to analyze and define the AMHS equipment and process specifications .Gather production and throughput requirements, perform necessary assessment on the needed system design and layout for AMHS systems .Perform necessary engineering designs, prototyping and pilot testing on the AMHS new system/expansion. .Work with AMHS MCS solution provider, Industrial Engineering and IT team on continuous AMHS system optimization through modeling and simulation to determine the best transportation logic to avoid congestions and bottlenecks in material transportation. .Establish and oversee an AMHS support team to ensure smooth 24x7 running of the AMHS systems in the fab. .Establish work instructions, safety guidelines and training documents for the AMHS support team. .Oversee and ensure effective PM management and repairs for the AMHS. .Drive improvement actions for departmental KPI when necessary. .Initiate and lead AMHS continuous improvement projects with regards to cycle time, cost reduction, capacity etc. .Prepare yearly budget for use of equipment. .To contribute towards the achievement of quality objectives by complying to the quality operating system and participating in continuous improvement activities (defect prevention, reduction of variation or prevention of waste). .To contribute towards the achievement of the EHS objectives by complying to the EHS policy and participating in the implementation of EHS management system. .Undertake any other projects or future tasks and duties as assigned by the Manager. Requirements: . Bachelor or Master\'s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent Technical Degree. . Preferably with 5 years of AMHS implementation and related experience in a 200mm or 300mm wafer fab, with actual leadership experience in AMHS implementation, operation and trouble shooting. Familiarity with AMHS conveyor systems, MCS design logic and simulation, MES/Scheduling systems would be an added advantage.
