• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for Value Stream production equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. You will:

• Work closely with McP/TEF of responsible for troubleshooting of the equipment issue
• Work closely with maintenance technician for the equipment maintenance and technical support.
• Improve machine performance through optimizing the machine parameters
• Supporting line and warranty teams for code changes and updates.
• Support assembly line improvement activity
• Introduce and implement process control parameters and checklist where necessary.
• To plan of the equipment maintenance plan and spare part list
• Train and guide Engineer/Trainers/Supervisors/ Maintenance on processes, equipment or machine by transferring technical and process know-how.
• Understand the electrical schematic and ensure the machine is in safe to use
• Work closely with the machine software engineer to execution to connect relevant test equipment have to fullfill/connect to Manufacturing Execution System (MES) of Ind. 4.0 for data traceability.

Qualifications

• Degree or above or similar qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical, and Electrical or Electronic Engineering or any equivalent certification.
• Minimum 3 years of proven track record working experience in related working environment.
• Experience in statistical software, AutoCAD knowledge, Solidwork knowledge and other PLC program knowledge are a MUST.
• Experience in automatic field is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Self-driven, ability to work independently and collaborate cross functions
• Well verse in MS Office, Solidwork, AutoCAD, and other PLC applications.
