Perform chemical analysis using GCMS, LCQTOF, DHS (Outgassing) , FTIR and IC instruments according to established test methods and reliability requirements Providing expert guidance to engineering teams on technical matters Leading research and development efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies. Encouraging innovation within the team and identifying opportunities for improvement. Ensure that lab activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, to have full involvement in quality audits. Oversee analytical data and ensure accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with development team for local technology upgrade or improvement. Provide clear vision/mission to the lab team towards business accomplishment.

Additional Information

Qualification

+ Master degree or Bachelor degree, majoring in Chemistry

SKILLS:

+ Experience in commercial lab or disk drive industry is an added advantage.
+ Knowledge of AI application is preferred
+ Expertise in data analysis and problem-solving.
+ Proficient in quality control skills, including the use of 7QC tools, MSA, SPC, 8D reports, DOE, etc.
+ Familiar with reporting and data analysis software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, JMP).
+ Detail-oriented, action-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently to deliver high-quality solutions.
+ Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members and excellent communication skills.
+ Proficient in both verbal and written English.
