Job Description

CLINICAL

1. Oversee dialysis treatment from start to finish.

2. Prime dialyzer & bloodline

3. Record patient's medical information and vital signs.

4. Demonstrate the abilities to administer medications including thrombolytic.

5. Ensure blood investigations are carried out on schedule or as instructed by the doctor. All blood results to be charted and filed. Any abnormalities of the results should be notified to doctor immediately.

6. Inform Post Basic Nurse In Charge of any defective medical equipment, accidents and complaints.

7. Hand over daily occurrence and status to the staff nurse of the next shift via the incident book.

8. Communicates all emergencies , patient life threatening complications related incidents to Post Basic Nurse In Charge.

9. Provides dialysis therapy, including but not limited to formulating dialysis, plan per physicians orders, weight and rate of ultra filtration, verifying safety measures are in place and complied with administering medications or other appropriate treatments, discontinuing dialysis according to established procedure, documenting all activity appropriately.

10. Administer patient quality care a considerate, respectful manner

11. To ensure the processes related to the delivery of dialysis. These include Kt/V, reuse standards, and so on.

ADMINISTRATIVE

1. To abide instruction given by Post Basic Nurse In Charge regarding administrative duty such as updating of emergency trolley, updating of temperature chart, updating of stock card, updating RO daily form, PPM Machine, RO water sampling.

2. To ensure all item at emergency trolley sufficient & nothing expired.

3. To ensure patient's record are filed properly. ( HD CHART )

4. Cleanliness and ambience, and security of centres.

5. Update patient at system DIMS everyday.

6. All other job to be assigned in future.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
