SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Applies scientific/ technical knowledge in the design, development and implementation of engineering models, tools and/or processes. Responsible for planning and directing engineering programs/projects, setting priorities, and allocating resources, and making necessary decisions on day-to-day operating matters. This role is responsible for cross-discipline activities and cannot be assigned to a specific engineering specialty.

• Applies diverse experience from multiple projects to solve problems, benefit the project team and/or develop new technical roadmaps.
• Looks for innovative ways to improve operational methods to align with Maxeon values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead cost reduction project on silicon related (poly, ingoting and wafering).

• Involve in experiment plan design, cost analysis, project planning, execution, reporting and technology integration.
• Interface and coordinate external (suppliers) and internal (R&D, Operations, and Reliability groups) on next technology platform requirements.
• Failure analysis on silicon wafers, cell or module product related to ingot growing & wafer slicing.
• Audits and qualify silicon vendors and suppliers.
• Explore new technology or opportunity in ingot growth or wafering processes.

RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in physic or engineering with 5 years of related experience or OR a Master\'s degree and 3 years of related experience OR a PhD without experience.

• Preferably with 2-3 years relevant experience in wafer fabrication, PV or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in data analytical, problem-solving skills, FMEA, risk assessment and statistical tools.
• Good communication skills, self-driven individual with ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
• Experience in Tableau, SQL, JMP and SEM / EDX will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel to and work at Maxeon manufacturing sites and/or suppliers, 20% of the time.
