Family Description:
Work as Staff Equipment Engineer for SPMY MODCO Module Production. Focus on Lamination Process for Module Assembly, Knowledgable and Hands On Required. Reports to Engineering, to do various project/task on improving current Module Yield/OEE/Cost + work with engineers to sustain the line & resolve tool downtime/hands on. Lead 8D & Projects as required. Required to manage own Spare parts for tool sustainability/PM. Task on New Product Launch + various projects to be attached with as required.
Need to lead the Process Technicians to support Modco/Module Assembly goals in Safety, Quality, Yield, Delivery, Cost and Operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Works closely with process engineers , equipment engineer, integration engineer, quality engineer & Reliability engineer to optimize process so as to improve Module performance such as Quality, Yield, OEE and Cost.
i) Initial Focus on Lamination to Backend Process - Involve on Tool Sustaning & Issues Resolution Defects.
ii) Focus & Task will be added/change as upon needs of the company/suitability.
2) Reduce the cost of indirect materials and other consumables in production lines using Data Analysis, Engineering Evaluations and Process Characterizations.
3) Possess good understanding of problem solving tools (FMEA, 5 whys, 8D), systematic approach with a quality mindset.
- Leader of any process related activities/improvement - Owner of Defects Understanding/Resolution as Requried.
4) Good knowledge in SPC and JMP.Leading process simplification/optimization activities - Kaizen Lead if Required.
5) Ability to think out of the box, perform risk analysis and mitigation and manage changes
RELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Degree or Master Degree in the field of Photovoltaic, Electronics Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
2) Experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication or PV Cells/Module manufacturing background preferred.
3) Candidate with
5 years proven working experience can be considered for staff engineer position
4) Candidate with
7 years proven working experience can be considered for senior staff engineer position
5) Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills
6) Ability to work guide other PE on process optimization activities.
7) Possess team leadership quality, act as team leader when section manager is not around.
8) Document owner and perform calibration & sunset review timely for Process recipe and SOP.
9) Provides guidance and training to Junior Engineer, Process , Qual technicians & Manufacturing Personal.
10) Submit weekly report / other reports timely as required.
