In your new role you will:

• Responsible local buyer for selected commodity (production material or services).
• To negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company standards.
• Coach the new/fresh colleagues in the team.
• Takes initiatives to the contribute to the team and proactive to assist any team members
• Utilize the knowledge gained within PROC to improve the team performance and make process leaner
• Coordination tasks: plan, schedule, communicate and monitor the necessary requirement / facilities for meetings, workshops, any special projects and activities for the selected commodity.
• Compose notices via email or letter form and send relevant correspondences to suppliers and business partners.
• Enforcement of procurement control via implementation of all relevant procurement processes and methods within Infineon.
• Possess a good understanding of the full procurement/business administration/planning processes, tools and methods.
• Supplier sourcing, qualification and evaluation according to established supplier management process.
• To review, compare, analyze, and approve materials and services to be purchased.
• Contract Management:- New contract creation, alignment, maintenance and obsoletion.
• Supply Chain Management:- Support on inventory management, consignment approach, STL, JIT, etc.

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree/Master in Business Admin (BA), Economics or Engineering with good BA knowledge and experience.
• Preferred with minimum of 3-5 years experience in purchasing, business administration or planning function within manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of purchasing/business administration/planning processes, tools and methods.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills is a prerequisite.
• A good command of English is required.
• Operation:- Order process, delivery follow up, vendor portfolio management, payment terms, incoterms, etc.
• Sourcing:- New product and supplier sourcing, alternate source, change management, etc.
• Supplier Management:- Supplier Qualification & Improvement, Supplier Evaluation, supplier audit and vendor performance review, etc.
• Contract Management:- New contract creation, alignment, maintenance and obsoletion.
