• Design and align with other technical leaders to create system concepts and architectures, which represent the solutions based on system requirements and include the evaluation of design alternatives.
• Refine the system requirements and break down the system requirements to the sub-domains in collaboration with HW, SW, Safety, Security and Validation experts.
• Document and communicate decision according to system designs and architecture to the responsible engineers and follow up the status of implementation.
• Guide and drive the implementation of solutions both within and beyond the scope of your team.
• Work closely with mechanical, electronics and software team to ensure design solutions able to meet the product specifications.
• Work in an international environment and in close collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate and test hardware prototypes.
• Develop product test plan together with design team and quality engineers.
• Guide test engineers / participate in new product testing and validation.
• Provide status reporting of the tasks according to project plan.
• Responsible to drive integration of product/system with manufacturing system/process at Penang Power Pools plant.
• Ensure product meet certification requirements.

• Degree/Master in Mechatronic / electronics / software engineering.
• Knowledge and experience in electronics design of embedded system, embedded software, mechanical design are preferred.
• Experience in simulation tools to support design calculations and documentation.
• Enjoyed problems solving and technical challenges.
• Can communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
• Strong focus on results.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
