  • Strategically lead & drive marketing strategy into a regional level, define guidelines for the development of a regional operational plan.
  • Drive the region and the team to achieve the operational plans on area such as co-plan volume and profit targets, market share, Trade critical metrics, and the effective merchandising plan in the region.
  • Drive and ensure that the Cycle Plan activities are led with the optimum use of resources and workforce within the region to gain vital results.
  • Leadership
  • Drive the alignment of the regional and (area) team and the trade partners are well-trained and aligned with BAT\'s International Marketing Standards and Corporate Guidelines.
  • Drive the coaching culture and to guide the team to be effective and efficient through on the job training, motivation and staff development to deliver brand and trade programmes that are superior to the competition
  • Management
  • Ensure the development of the 3-months demand plan, accurate resource optimisation in the area of budget and ensure to timely reconciliation of the State Office Floats.
  • Ensure proper management on the efficiency & cost optimisation of the region (trade spend effectiveness) to ensure the maximisation of asset usage.
  • Relationship
  • Work closely with Demand & Insights in the development of regional/ state plans and operational plan, ensuring that trade and brand programmes are aligned with consumer segment objectives.
  • Develop and run business relationship with target trade partners within the region
  • Innovations
  • Champion innovation in development of trade programmes in order to ensure competitive advantage in the respective region.
  • Ensure that regional team brings together innovative ideas from customers and consumers
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales/Marketing/Commercial Experience with at least 3 years\' experience in Sales Management (leading sales teams)
  • Good rational decision making and problem skills
  • Able to lead team in achieving overall team\'s target and objectives.
  • Good commercial acumen and relationship management (internal & external partners)
