Station Engineer SDK

Reports To

Section Head, Line Maintenance Sabah Ops

Role Purpose

To take charge and ensure smooth running of the station, covering the following areas of administration * Staff administration.

• Property, Facilities and Equipment administration.
• Operational administration.
• Stores administration.

Key Accountability * Staff Administration. The job functions are:

(a). Prepare staff roster to meet operational requirements.

(b). Maintain and encourage high standards of discipline, punctuality, work practices and cleanliness

(c). Administer the welfare of staff.

(d). Administer staff annual leave, daily attendance, overtime, public holiday pay.

(e). Control staff overtime, meal allowance, public holiday pay * Property, Facilities and Equipment Administration.

(a). Maintain a master record of all station assets. Control, administer and account for the assets.

(b). Ensure station equipment, property, facilities are regularly maintained, and associated records kept. Ensure a maintenance schedule is available for each equipment, facility which requires maintenance * Operational Administration.

(a). Deploy, organise and control the station manpower, equipment and other resources to achieve on time departures, high standard of aircraft handling,defect rectification and other Line Station activities. (b). Co-ordinate with other parties concerned to expedite aircraft maintenance, defect rectification, ferry flights and other abnormal operational requirements. * Stores Administration.

(a). Establish and maintain a Line Stations store for the stations tools, aircraft spares, consumables and ground equipment spares.

(b). Liaise with Line Stations Supt on his station\'s stores requirement.

(c). Establish and maintain an administrative system for stores inventory, receipt, despatch and shelf-life expiry.

(d). Undertake such other duties assigned by his immediate superior or other superiors

Qualifications & Working Experience * Possess and approved CAAM and company type approval for (B1) & (B2)

• Experience in Line Maintenance/ Station Operation
• Holder Cat B1.1 or B2

Skills & Knowledge * Good knowledge of all safety requirements, regulatory and performance procedures including CAAM, FAA, EASA, CASA and any other relevant regulatory bodies requirements

• Experience and having an approved aircraft maintenance training
• Possess an innovative and proactive thinking to lead and implement projects and execute plans timely
• Positive work attitude and efficient to track, analyse and implement continuous improvement program.

Key Challenges * Ensuring good quality of aircraft health and target OTP.

• To ensure on time completion of OOP and Line maintenance check
• To ensure all spares and ground support equipment are serviceable and available for daily operational requirement.
