Role Purpose

Station Head is responsible and accountable to manage, plan and monitor the overall ground operations at the respective station to ensure Malaysia Airlines operates in a safe, secure, and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and SOPs. Station Head is also responsible to ensure consistent service delivery in accordance with the company\'s set service standards and meet or exceed the company\'s KPIs related to On-Time Performance(OTP), Mishandle Baggage(MHB), Document Violation, Customer Satisfaction Index(CSI) and financial targets.

Key Accountability * Station Head is generally responsible&accountable for the airlines overall ground operations at the airport.

  • Station Head is generally responsible&accountable to ensure the airline\'s ground operations are in full compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirement and all airlines policies, procedures, and operating manual.
  • Station Head is generally responsible to undertake an oversight function on all outsourced functions performed by appointed GSP and vendors.
  • Station Head is responsible to ensure the delivery of all airlines products and services at all ground customer touch points consistently meet and exceed the service quality target set.
  • Station Head is responsible&accountable to familiarize and understand his/her roles, accountabilities&responsibilities as stated in the SH Manual, GOM, SERP and any other company manuals and applicable regulations.
  • Station Head shall make any decision&action professionally and ethically in the best interest of the company without any personal conflict of interest.
Qualifications & Working Experience * Degree in any field with at least 1 year of working experience
  • Diploma in any field with at least 3 years of working experience
  • High School Certificate or its equivalent with at least 5 years of working experience in any relevant field
Skills & Knowledge * Extensive knowledge of Airport Services functions and key activities including technical and operational related matters.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret codes and information and use information to maximise when planning, organising and supervising the work of others and setting priorities.
  • Ability to work with the team, senior management and stakeholders as required and making effective decisions to maintain operational standard, commercial performance and customer satisfactions.
Key Challenges * Ensure effective management and control of fund, account receivables and payables and cost within approve budget, communications and statutory/legal requirements.
  • Develop, establish and maintain close rapport through networking with key personalities in the Government agency, other relevant external parties and maximise business opportunities for the Company.
