Preparation of the regulatory reporting - STATsmart, EAL & PIDM reports of RHB Banking Group to meet the timely and accurate submission to BNM & PIDM, specific to Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Deposit product
To analysis and compare the monthly submission to BNM
Compile the necessary information for the proactive provision of the required information to other SBUs/SFUs
Actively involved and fully participate in internal Group projects and regulatory bodies projects
Responsible on the assigned task and day to day project activities
Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and filing of various financial regulatory reports (e.g. EAL, STATsmart & PIDM reporting) in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Trend analysis and monitoring the accuracy of the submission to BNM
Highlight and assist in providing advice to the business units on the appropriate tagging in the source system for reporting purpose
Will be required to handle a variety of deliverables and be able to effectively liaise with other business units
Encompasses identifying, analyzing and escalating issues as appropriate.
Ensure ongoing cross-functional process streamlining and reporting risk control in place and comply to bank internal requirement for business continuity.
Assist the respective areas in Regulatory Reporting to streamline the work processes and automate, wherever possible, to achieve the best reporting practices and increase work productivity
Actively involved and perform all internal and external UATs till sign-off or implementation
Participate in the regulatory reporting requirements in group wide initiatives/system enhancements and BNM/Regulators projects
Assists the supervisor in ensuring completion of Data Quality Assurance Initiatives and monitor any non-compliances with statistical reporting requirements
Requirements
Bachelor Degree - Finance, Business Administration, Banking or equivalent qualifications.
Minimum of 2 years experience in handling reporting function, projects or business process re-engineering of a large organisation or Group.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and developments would be an advantage.
Ability to work under tremendous work pressure
Good in Microsolf Office (i.e. Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word), data mining tools (e.g. SQL) or other Business Intelligence tools
Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as be an effective team player
Good written, interpersonal and communication skills
