Job Description

JOB SCOPE:

1. Process and Production Management

Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, quality standards, and operational efficiency. Oversee production processes, address quality issues, and assist in steam plant and wastewater treatment operations.

2. Maintenance and Equipment Oversight

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and policies. Supervise workshop staff, contractors, and ensure proper functioning of all mechanical and electrical equipment.

3. Inventory and Laboratory Operations

Manage inventory levels, engineering stores, and ensure stock availability. Conduct and oversee product quality tests, equipment calibration, and maintain lab standards.

4. Environmental and Safety Compliance

Oversee effluent treatment, environmental reporting, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Maintain workplace safety and a clean working environment.

5. Team and Resource Coordination

Mobilize manpower, supervise team activities, and ensure operational goals are met efficiently. Provide support in training and guiding team members.

6. Reporting and Continuous Improvement

Monitor and report on production, maintenance, and quality performance. Implement improvements and ensure compliance with management systems like ISO 9001 and MSPO SCCS.

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 2 Steam Engineer Certificate Holder

Knowledge of ISO 9001, MSPO SCCS, and safety standards (training will be provided if needed). 2 years experience in palm oill mill industry is beneficial. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
