Requirement by FMA 1967 (Act 139), Section 29(2)1) to supervise, operate, manage and maintain the steam boiler according to Factory and Machinery Act, Regulations, Rules and Order enforced by DOSH.
To perform the other duties and responsibility as per OSH Act and its related regulations.
To plan for routine maintenance and scheduled inspection for steam boiler
To maintain the boiler as per the standard condition defined in FMA Steam Boiler and Unfired Pressure Vessel (UPV) Reg. 1970 and to establish and review HIRARC / EIA related to boiler operational safety and to reduce the occupational hazards.
To ensure the full compliance to safety procedure, hygiene procedures and 6S execution.
To review and check the boiler water analysis and to ensure the continuous supply of chemical to ensure the water treatment is carried out on the time and as per specifications.
Organizing and conduct on-job-training to enhance the skills and competency of boilerman.
To perform any other jobs assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time.
To arrange the shift rotation of boilerman and to ensure the boilers daily operation log is updated promptly and accurately.
To assist and support to utility supervisors on day-to-day operation.
To perform and execute the task / assignment as deemed necessary by Manager.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess and provide the Certified Grade 1 & 2 Steam Engineer Certification from DOSH.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Must be able to work on rotational shift.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Proactive and able to work independently and as a team.
Able to work under tight deadlines and an energetic team player.
