Plan, manage, and supervise all steelwork activities for marine vessels, barges, rigs, and associated infrastructure.
Lead steelwork teams during mobilization and demobilization projects, ensuring proper execution of lifting, fitting, removal and installation scopes.
Review engineering drawings, fabrication details, and work packages for feasibility and constructability.
Ensure alignment with project schedules and proactively mitigate delays.
Manage resources (manpower, materials, equipment) to support efficient execution.
Managed the integration of business development and operational tasks, ensuring smooth coordination between commercial and operational teams.
Monitored day to day operations, ensuring timely project delivery while managing costs and operations risks.

Review and ensure compliance with owner/class approved drawings, technical specifications, project quality standards throughout construction
Quality & Compliance
Ensure steelwork fabrication and erection meet quality standards, welding procedures, and classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, BV, etc.).
Conduct inspections, fit-up checks, dimensional control, and welding quality audits.
Prepare and maintain steelwork progress reports, material traceability, and QA/QC documentation.
Understand of Welding Procedures and consistently upgrading the standards within organization
Safety & Risk Management
Enforce HSE standards, ensuring steelwork operations are carried out safely during lifting, cutting, welding, and confined space activities.
Lead risk assessments and toolbox talk for steelwork and mob/ demob operations.
Ensure compliance with yard, port, and offshore safety protocols.
Coordination & Leadership
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Marine Operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
Supervise subcontractors and steelwork crews, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
Act as the main point of contact for steelwork matters with the client and classification representatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / Degree in Marine & Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years' experience in steel fabrication, marine projects, or shipyard operations.
Familiarity with mob/demob operations for offshore equipment, modules, and heavy structures.
Knowledge of welding standards (AWS, ASME, ISO), classification society rules, and structural tolerances.
Proven track record in managing teams and subcontractors in a marine/shipyard environment.
