Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Storekeeper to join our growing team at Dynamic Mesh and Wire Industries Sdn Bhd. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials while maintaining efficient and compliant inventory management systems.
Job Responsibilities.
1. Inventory Management
Receive and inspect incoming materials/shipment, verifying them against purchase orders and invoices.
Organize and store materials in designated areas.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and system updates.
Issue materials according to approved requisitions and ensure proper documentation.
2. Store Organization
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained for smooth operations.
Rotate and arrange stock to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, supplies, and equipment.
Raise purchase order for restocking.
Generate and update stock balance and material usage reports periodically.
Provide required documentation for internal audits and external inspections.
4. Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements for storage and handling of materials.
5. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate closely with purchasing, production, logistics departments and maintenance to ensure timely availability of materials.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding stock levels and inventory issues.
