Job Description

General Warehouse Duties



Perform general logistics activities including receiving and storing goods Assist in loading and unloading goods onto lorries for deliveries Support physical inventory checks and inventory control Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workplace Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD Familiarity with the Food Market Hub (FMH) system is an added advantage Based in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur

A. Operations Department


1. Record and maintain inventory of all back up units (E.g.: kitchen appliances in the Central Kitchen.

2. Coordinate with outlet staff regarding equipment movement and record.

3. Update office when outlets return kitchen appliances or equipment to the Central Kitchen.

B. Marketing Department


1. Receive marketing stock from suppliers.

2. Organize and arrange marketing stock on the designated racks (with proper labelling to avoid confusion).

3. Prepare and send outlet orders made via Food Market Hub, delivered by lorry according to the schedule.

4. At the end of each month, update the Marketing team on the remaining physical stock balance.

C. Purchasing Department


1. Pack and distribute operational items weekly according to FMH orders.

2. Pack and deliver chinaware and glassware on a bi-monthly basis.

3. Receive stock from suppliers and distribute transit stock to outlets.

4. Notify Purchasing of low-stock items for top-up.

5. Conduct monthly inventory stock counts.

D. Finance Department


1. Inventory Valuation Support: Assist with monthly/annual inventory valuation processes to ensure accurate financial statements.

2. Audit Trail Maintenance: Ensure all receiving and issuing documentation (PO, DO, GRN, is meticulously maintained for internal and external audits.

3. Compliance & Reporting: Monitor and report stock discrepancies immediately to aid in timely accounting adjustments.

4. Asset Management Assistance: Coordinate with the Finance team to track movements and status of fixed assets (e.g., IT equipment, furniture) received at the store.
Cost & Waste Control: Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock to minimize financial write-offs and optimize working capital

E. HR Department


1. Maintain accurate records of uniforms inventory, including stock levels, sizes and conditions. To conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records and to update HR on monthly basis.

2. Prepare and send uniform based on HOD requests submitted through the FMH and in accordance with the transportation schedule.

3. Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and organization of uniforms in the store as well as report damaged, obsolete or missing uniforms to HR for corrective actions.

4. Manage and arrange buffer uniform for disposal or reuse.

5.Arrange HQ documents to be sent to the respective outlets based on transportation schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
