Responsible for proper control of general stores, including proper keeping of perpetual inventory record of all daily receipt and issue.
To recommend and work closely with Cost Control Officer in maintaining reasonable "Par Stock Level" for all stock under his care.
To place order with vendor on store purchases.
To raise "Purchase Request Form" for store items in accordance to the requirement.
To issue stock according to the approved "Store Requisition Form".
To arrange periodic physical inventories of storeroom count and operating supplies with Cost Control Officer, witness by an independent accounting personal.
To work with Cost Control Officer and advice the management on the status of slow-moving stock.
To check and receive goods in accordance to specification of Purchase Order.
To liaise with relevant department and purchasing should there be any problem on ordering or receiving of goods on time.
To ensure Bin Cards are updated on timely basis for any mechandized entering and issuing from the stores.
To ensure goods stored in storeroom are arranged in proper order and issue items in FIFO rotation to minimise wastage and spoilage.
To be accountable for any difference in physical store inventories with book figures.
To take part in Month End Stock/Inventory takes.
To update and prepare month end store balances report and to resolve any reconciliation differences.
Ensure storage areas are secured and access is controlled at all times.
To maintain proper filing and records of storekeeping documents.
To be fully aware of hotel/club's policies and process and adhere to them.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
