Storekeeper
Job Description
To coordinate general warehouse operation and activities including shipping, deliveries and receiving of finished goods.
To verify and ensure the correctness of product information, packing quality and quantity of finished goods received from production.
To perform pre-delivery inspection and ensure the standard requirements of outbound finished goods are fulfill prior to the shipment.
To coordinate picking and preparation of finished for local and export order according to the delivery schedule.
To verify and check on stock shortages, quality or packing deficiencies of finished goods product to superior.
To perform equipment and forklift checks and basic maintenance on regular basis.
To maintain and keep records of finished goods in and out movement to ensure stock level accuracy being maintain at all time.
To plan storage layout and maintain storage arrangement and cleanliness at all time.
To involved in warehouse monthly cycle count and year end stock count activity.
Identifying workplace safety hazards.
Adhering to Company Policies, Department S.O.P and Safety Management Standards.
To carry out other duties as instructed and arranged by superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Minimum SPM or equivalent; additional logistics/warehouse training is an advantage. Minimum 2-3 years experience in storekeeping, warehousing, or inventory control. Able to drive a forklift. Basic understanding of inventory management and stock-taking procedures. Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights.
