to manage our stockroom and inventory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all stock movements, ensuring proper storage, and assisting with the handling and distribution of supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of stock.
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies accurately.
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies.
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report them for reimbursement and record-keeping.
Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surplus items.
Ensure proper documentation to maintain accurate stock levels and inventory control.
Coordinate the handling of freight, movement of equipment, and minor repairs.
Keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
Mediate minor conflicts between staff and clients, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar role preferred.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move items as needed.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
