Job Description


In this position, your responsibilities will involve creating and executing strategies for workforce planning. These strategies aim to recognise and bridge the disparities between the current skills and the future skill requirements necessary to attain the Organization\'s people goal.

  • Creating strategic workforce plans that incorporate future needs and succession planning requirements.
  • Performing analyses to identify gaps in the workforce and develop strategies to reduce these gaps. This includes evaluating operational efficiency, assessing systems, policies, and standards, identifying areas of risk and deficiencies, and documenting workforce trends.
  • Offering recommendations on organizational structure and workforce deployment.
  • Identifying internal and external obstacles to achieving strategic workforce goals.
  • Developing action plans for implementing strategies and establishing metrics to gauge strategic progress. This may involve activities such as recruitment, training, restructuring, outsourcing, succession planning, and technological improvements.
  • Crafting comprehensive models for competencies and establishing baseline competency databases. This includes defining core competencies for the organization, technical competencies for each role, and associated competencies with draft proficiency levels.
  • Aligning competencies and job descriptions with career progression programs.
  • Providing a thorough source of data on talent supply and demand, predictive analytics, and insights into current job markets.
  • To excel in the Strategic Workforce Planning role, it\'s essential to effectively collaborate with senior management teams, various Heads of Departments (HODs), both domestically and internationally, and navigate within internal organizational structures.

  • Possession of a bachelor\'s degree or higher educational qualification.
  • Demonstrates a consultative, collaborative, and creative approach when addressing a variety of challenges.
  • Previous experience in HR projects within an organization or at a consulting firm.
  • Proven experience in leading transformative workforce initiatives.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong business acumen, exceptional planning and career advancement skills, and effective interpersonal communication abilities.
