Job Description
Key Accountabilities: * Review designs of structure section team members to ensure all design assignments within stipulated plans and meets customer requirements.
- Monitor and manage the resources of structure design section to ensure optimization of resource allocation
- Maintain design standardization to ensure structure designs are streamlined to consistent quality and benchmarked to current industry standards in compliance to statutory requirements
- Establish and maintain close working rapport with all parties such as local authorities, either internal or external
- Build and enhance relationships with clients through timely engagement to ensure mutual expectations are met, issues are amicably resolved and thus, leading to effective execution of design assignments (structure section)
- Manage and promote a motivating structure design team environment by providing coaching and training to team members to develop and enhance structure design team competency
- Deliver results within a given framework
- Strong leadership and decision-maker, problem solving, analytical skill, proactive, able to work under pressure and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in design related technical code and standards and design software
