Job Scopes & Responsibilities

To process EPG and download screeners as per daily worklist
To check EPG and inform any errors prior processing
To inform error in downloaded screeners for Pratonton i.e. screener unmatched with scheduled title, large file size
To vet through titles in EPG and provide suitable classification as per LPF, MCMC Content Code and internal guidelines
To perform thorough research via online and check LPF past records to obtain additional information before deciding on a suitable classification
To update KIV TUT trackers and to ensure replacement is provided prior to TX date
To inform on Live Programs to Team Leader to obtain MCMC approval
To keep updated with news and current affairs and highlight any sensitivity that may arise to Live Compliance team
To output and print out weekly EPG for Live Compliance reference
To upload/update master data in system for Playout, VOD content and sensitive content highlighted by Live Complaince
To approve TVC pass-through request and OAP/promos by internal stakeholder
To participate in content evaluation, troubleshoot issues or provide feedback regarding content that is related to assigned channels for Live compliance (including off working hours)
To assist Team Leader on Adhoc matters (as & when required)

Competencies & Skills

Must be a Malaysian citizen
Holds a Diploma/Degree, preferably in Mass Communication, Social Sciences, Arts, Languages, Broadcast, Filming or other related disciplines
3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years working experience in censorship field
Computer literate - software (Windows/Microsoft Office) & hardware based, intermediate
COMPULSORY to have good fluency in Bahasa Malaysia & English (speaking, writing and reading) For Chinese, Tamil & Hindi, content editors are required to have proficiency in listening and reading
Knowledge/exposure in broadcasting would be an advantage
Possess strong analytical thinking, maturity to judge content and high awareness to understand sensitivity in this country (political, cultural, social and religious framework)
Have keen interest in film, music, documentary, sports and news programs
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work fast, independently, alert, quick thinking and a good team player

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
