As a Subsea and DCI lead,you will be responsible for Orders/Sales/Margin of NI\'s Subsea and DCI Optical Transport business in APAC markets. What you will learn and contribute to Are you passionate about solving problems As part of our team, you will: Drive and build profitable business growth for Subsea and DCI in APAC with service providers and web-scale companies Responsible for the achievement of Orders/Sales/Margin target for the assigned area Manage all the Optical Networks Business Center related activities for Subsea and DCI and coordinate with account managers, subject matter experts and delivery functions across the full sales cycle of HW, SW and Services Coordinate with all involved account managers to develop the funnel and define sales strategy Own offer development, including scoping, solutioning, pricing and T&C, and ensure offers are technically and commercially competitive Be responsible for closely monitoring market and technology trends Anticipate competition in the market and develop initiatives to influence decision making towards NOKIA value proposition and portfolio strengths Possess a broad overview of the current state of the business, key projects (near and longer term) and competitive dynamics Be the go-to person for everything related to Subsea and DCI in APAC Build relationship within direct and indirect customer organizations, across all the involved functions and layers Influence customer strategic thinking Frequent traveling Your skills and experience You have: Education: MBA or Master\'sdegree in field related to Telecommunications / Electrical & Electronics Engineering Experience: 10 years\' experience in telecom, both on vendor and service provide side, sales, business development or presales, with focus on Optical Transmission and related architectures, with experience in Subsea as well, 5 years\' experience in business management documented track record in business development Specific knowledge: equipped with DWDM and Ethernet technologies knowledge good understanding of transport network architectures Business understanding: knowledge of Service Providers market, their Transport requirement and vision, including Subsea market, requirements and key players in the ecosystem. Major technology trends, experience in pre-sales or sales Experience in Data Center market, with emphasis on DWDM transport for DCI application People management. The candidate can manage a small team of very experienced professional providing leadership, motivation, and skills development Business development. The candidate will be able to use his/her business acumen to identify markets to be developed, work out a business strategy and execute it Works in non-core hours Communication. Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English is a must Computer Skill. Excellent skill in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word) professionally Deal with pressure.
