Job Description

We are looking for experienced talents who familiar in operation from freight forwarding industry. Especially experienced in import handling and arrangement.

The role required to execute the below tasks and initiative:

• To ensure smooth operational arrangement for Recovery from GHA.

• To monitor on short-landed / partial recovery and update relevant parties accordingly.

• To check and ensure quantity of goods received is in good condition and tally against the

manifest before acceptance from GHA / Vendor.

• To monitor on survey & Claim submission with GHA & Carrier.

• Planning on the segregation of shipments (Break Bulk activities)

• To record & monitor all deliveries and update GOU/Z25 in CW1.

• Sharing of warehouse backlog report on daily basis to stake holders.

• Import storage monitoring.

• Staff leave and absent replacement planning.

• Import tonnage and other mandatory reports.

• Cost saving for AFRI

• Planning of resources for daily operation.

• To perform any other job functions as delegated by Manager.

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

Diploma/ bachelor's degree in Logistic Management & Transportation or any equivalent academic background.

Minimum 2 year working experience in the freight forwarding business.

Exposure to Freight Forwarding will be added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Outlook

Fluency in conversing and writing in English is require as this position will interact with clients and aboard colleagues.

This position will be based at our Penang Branch, Komplex Kargo Udara Kedua (KKUK) Office in Batu Maung.
