The Cafe Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cafe operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, and supervising staff performance. This role also involves assisting in inventory control, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
Supervise daily cafe operations to ensure smooth service flow.
Monitor food and beverage preparation to ensure consistency and quality.
Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
Ensure cafe cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
2. Staff Supervision
Lead, train, and motivate cafe staff to deliver excellent service.
Prepare and manage staff duty roster.
Monitor staff attendance, discipline, and performance.
3. Inventory & Cash Management
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies.
Conduct stock checks and ensure proper storage of materials.
Assist in daily cash closing and sales reporting.
4. Customer Service & Sales
Promote cafe products and special offers to increase sales.
Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests.
5. Reporting
Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales, staff performance, and operational issues.
Report any maintenance, equipment, or staffing concerns to management.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM / Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in F&B or cafe operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Able to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Good problem-solving and customer service skills.
