Position Overview
Role Purpose
The Team Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day outlet operations, supervising frontline staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining product quality, and achieving sales targets. This role acts as the key person in charge when the Area Manager is not present and ensures full compliance with all ChicknCone operational standards.
Key Responsibilities & Detailed Duties
A. Outlet Operations Management
Lead daily opening and closing procedures according to SOP.
Assign duties and manage staff schedules to ensure sufficient manpower coverage.
Ensure outlet cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are always maintained.
Monitor food preparation and service quality to ensure consistency.
B. Customer Service Excellence
Greet and engage customers professionally to deliver exceptional service.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with a positive approach.
Ensure staff adhere to service protocols and upselling strategies.
C. Sales & Performance
Monitor daily sales and ensure sales targets are met.
Execute promotional activities and recommend strategies to increase revenue.
Prepare and submit end-of-day sales reports to the Area Manager.
D. Cash & Inventory Management
Oversee cash handling, perform cash reconciliation, and ensure accurate POS transactions.
Conduct daily stock checks and verify deliveries.
Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles to minimize wastage.
Coordinate stock requisitions with Procurement and Store teams.
E. Staff Supervision & Training
Lead, motivate, and coach retail assistants to improve service quality.
Conduct on-the-job training for new staff and monitor performance.
Enforce discipline, punctuality, and staff grooming standards.
F. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with Halal, HACCP, and ChicknCone SOP guidelines.
Submit daily operational reports, incident reports, and customer feedback summaries.
Conduct basic health and safety checks to ensure outlet is audit-ready.

Minimum Education: SPM/Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, or related field.

Working Conditions & Mobility
Requires shift work including weekends and public holidays.
