Position Summary:

Supervisor of Manufacturing Training will recruit, train and supervise subject matter expert facilitators to provide a highly active and engaging learning experience for Dexcom manufacturing employees. The Supervisor of Manufacturing Training will use training evaluation data to drive ongoing performance improvement in all manufacturing job roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the training facilitation and delivery activities of subject matter expert facilitators in partnership with line supervisors and managers
• Coach and mentor a team of subject matter expert facilitators
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet business training needs to include facilitators, AD&D, Evaluation and site leadership
• Act as a conduit between the Manufacturing Training Team and other manufacturing stakeholders as it relates to training implementation, tracking and reporting

• Knowledge of:

• Theories and models of adult learning
• Diverse instructional modalities including instructor-led, computer-based, virtual reality, etc
• Types and applications of instructional methods and techniques (e.g. role plays, games, lecture, practical exercise, etc.)
• Facilitation methods and techniques

• Must have capability in:

• Coordinating the logistical tasks associating with planning learning events (e.g. train-the-trainer, new hire, refresher, etc.)
• Creating positive learning climates/environments.

• Facilitation of learning events in face-to-face or virtual environments
• Experience delivering training
• Experience using a learning management system for both instructor-led and computer-based training.
• Experience working with remote teams
• Proven success coaching (improving performance) of subject matter expert facilitators.
• Knowledge of principles and techniques for providing feedback.
• Skill in integrating and synthesizing others\xe2\x80\x99 viewpoints to build alignment of diverse perspectives
• Skill in establishing, monitoring, and communicating progress toward the achievement of goals, objectives, and milestones.
• Skill in adjusting work processes and outputs in response to or anticipation of changes in goals, standards, resources, and/or time.
• Ability to establish and perpetuate an environment that fosters mutual respect and trust
• Effective communication skills
