Supervise daily M&E installation works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems.
Ensure all works follow approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Coordinate work activities with technicians, subcontractors, and site workers to meet project schedules.
Monitor workmanship quality and ensure proper installation methods are followed.
2. Inspection, Testing & Commissioning
Conduct routine inspections for M&E installations to identify defects, non-compliances, and rectification needs.
Assist in planning and executing testing & commissioning (T&C) activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities when required.
Prepare inspection checklists and ensure all T&C documentation is properly completed.
3. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate closely with Project Engineers, Site Managers, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow on site.
Attend site meetings, toolbox briefings, and coordination discussions.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors to ensure they understand technical requirements and work instructions.
Liaise with vendors/suppliers for material deliveries, equipment setup, and technical clarifications.
4. Material, Tools & Work Planning
Monitor material usage and ensure proper storage, tracking, and handling.
Report material shortages, damaged items, or additional requirements to the project team.
Ensure all tools, equipment, and machinery used in M&E works are in good working condition.
Assist in planning daily/weekly work activities and manpower allocation.
5. Safety, Quality & Compliance
Ensure all M&E works comply with site safety rules, SOPs, and QHSE requirements.
Enforce correct use of PPE and safe working practices for all workers under supervision.
Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to the HSE team.
Support quality inspections, audits, and rectification works.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily site reports, work progress updates, and inspection records.
Track manpower, material usage, and work progress for reporting to the Project Engineer/Site Manager.
Prepare documentation for inspections, T&C, and client submissions when required.
7. Ad-Hoc Duties
Perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager, Site Manager, or M&E Engineer.
Support other project activities whenever required to ensure smooth operations.
