:ResponsibilitiesPre commencement meeting and conduct site demarcation

• Confirm the construction drawing and BOQ are in order.
• Confirm schedule start and schedule complete date for application of the followings;

• Work Permit (one week before start work)
• Permit to Work (one week before start work)
• Confirm and submit (if any) material sampling/approval requirements within one week.

Pre-construction site supervision

• Place order of premix and get the confirmation from Engineer based on daily work quantity and ensure timely arrival with very minimal wastage.
• Daily checking and ensure Traffic Management & installation are in accordance with approved TMP Drawings.
• Conduct toolbox and check validity of EOSP, machineries to follow HSE requirements.
• Ensure that all site personnel are equipped with and correctly using the necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Develop and communicate clear and detailed Work Instructions for all pre-construction activities.
• Conduct thorough Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRARC) to identify potential safety risks on the site.

Construction site supervision

• Ensure milling and dipping as per planning and drawing.
• Cleaning and surface preparation as per specification.
• Spray tack coat as per required spray rate (to conduct tray test)
• Premix temperature check (arrival and laying temperature must as per specification)
• Paving and compaction as per required thickness and rolling pattern.
• Curing time as per specification.
• Ensure the Material Sampling and coring done by EEMT.

Daily work documentation

• Filing up, compile and certify daily
• Present the work order file to project engineer weekly
• To endure all the test result submitted by EEMT within 48 hours.

Reporting

• Keep project engineer updated with the daily productivity and overall site progress
• Keep project engineer updated on site issue
• Monitor and report on any idling periods caused by insufficient lorries and the late arrival of premix.
• Track and document any instances of plant or machinery breakdowns.
• Observe and report on traffic flow congestion around the project site.
• Utilize Beakon to record and report on safety observations.
• Accurately document and report any incidents or accidents that occur on-site.

Post construction site supervision

• Attend Final Joint Inspection and DLP inspection and to report the outcome immediately.
• Check reinstatement machineries parking area and ensure the condition is to the satisfaction of the client (client verification confirmation)

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction site supervision, particularly in pavement projects.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and construction specifications.
