Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving & Inspection

Receive all incoming materials, cables, equipment, and spare parts for TNB projects.

Inspect deliveries for accuracy (quantity, quality, specification compliance) against purchase orders/delivery notes. Record and file delivery documents properly.

2. Storage & Inventory Management

Arrange, label, and store materials in an organized and secure manner.

Maintain stock accuracy through proper binning, tagging, and regular cycle counts. Ensure materials are protected from damage, loss, or theft.

3. Issuance & Documentation

Issue materials only with approved requisitions or work orders.

Record all stock movement (in/out) in the inventory system/stock cards. Update inventory records daily to ensure real-time accuracy.

4. Reporting & Stock Control

Prepare stock balance reports, monthly usage reports, and variance reports. Assist in stock audits, reconciliation, and verification by management or auditors. Highlight any shortages, damages, or slow-moving/obsolete stock to the superior.

5. Compliance & Safety

Follow company safety, health, and environment (SHE) guidelines in all store activities. Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the store/warehouse area.

6. Coordination

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams on stock requirements. Provide timely support for site/project material requests.

Liaise with transporters/drivers for delivery and collection schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum SPM or equivalent; a diploma in logistics/warehouse management is an advantage.

At least 2 years of experience in warehouse/storekeeping (preferably in utilities, construction, or power sector). Basic computer skills (MS Excel, inventory systems).

Physically fit and able to handle materials/equipment safely. Strong attention to detail, responsible, and trustworthy.

Authority

Authorized to check and verify materials received. Authorized to release materials only with proper approval.

Authorized to reject damaged/non-compliant deliveries and report to superior.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
