Supplier Quality Compliance

Duties and responsibilities

• Ownership and reporting on all quality issues associated with the assigned suppliers and ensuring the related material quality issues are effectively communicated to key stakeholders.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for the assigned suppliers and verify that the actions are effective and carried out in a timely manner. Where applicable, participate in supplier site visits.
• Participate as a member of the Material Review Board for the review and disposition of Supplier nonconforming materials.
• Ownership for Supplier quality performance and measurement and participate/lead supplier performance reviews.
• Participate in establishing KPI\'s for Supplier Quality performance and the reporting of said KPI\'s.
• Assist in supplier qualification/disqualification process by assessing manufacturing/technological capabilities and quality system adequacy.
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply/demand of needed products and materials for the assigned suppliers and advise key stakeholders of any impact.
• Lead/Participate in Change Control related to supplier quality.
• Participate in establishing RMS (Raw Material Specifications) and Quality Agreements with key suppliers.
• Promote the use of customer/industry preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Poka-Yoke (Errorproofing), Measurement System Analysis, PFMEA, GMP, Lean Manufacturing & Six-Sigma.
• Act as point of contact for Internal/Intercompany/External Customer groups and Internal/Intercompany/External Supplier groups on matters related to Supplier quality except for Supplier Audit reports and audit CA plans which is handled by the assigned Lead Auditor.
• Participate in establishing Annual Supplier Audit Plan with QMCO.
• Participate in supplier quality audits.
• Willing to travel in support of business needs to different geographical locations on matters related to Supplier quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• Where applicable, communicate problems clearly to staff and team members of different technological backgrounds.
• Shows moral courage, transparency and honesty in all dealings.

Professional competencies

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering/ Science, preferably Materials Science especially Metal or Polymer Science; or relevant background.
• Preferable someone having at least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Must have experience working in Material Quality, Root Cause analysis and knowledge on ISO9001/ISO134865.
• Will be added advantage if familiar with the medical industry and supplier quality.
