1. Procurement & Supplier Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials, packaging, and services.
Follow up on purchase orders, lead times, and shipment schedules.
Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, reliability).
Assist in cost control (freight, handling, and storage costs).
2. Import & Export Documentation
Prepare and verify shipping documents: invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading/Air Waybill, Certificate of Origin, Health/ Halal certificates, permits.
Handle Customs declarations (K1 for import, K2 for export in Malaysia).
Ensure compliance with local regulations (Customs, MAQIS, MOH, Halal, etc.) and international requirements (destination country rules).
3. Logistics & Transportation
Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping lines for bookings and delivery.
Plan import/export shipments (sea, air, or land).
Track shipments and resolve delays, demurrage, or detention issues.
Optimize transport routes and costs.
4. Warehouse & Inventory Coordination
Work with warehouse team to ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched properly.
Coordinate stock movements between production, warehouse, and customers.
Monitor inventory levels and highlight potential shortages.
Assist in cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
5. Customer Order Fulfillment
Ensure customer orders (local & export) are processed, packed, and shipped on time.
Provide delivery schedules and updates to Sales & Customers.
Handle customer complaints on delivery delays or shipment issues.
6. Reporting & Administration
Maintain shipment trackers, PO status reports, and delivery schedules.
Monitor logistics KPIs (lead time, on-time delivery, cost efficiency).
Support finance team with freight invoices, customs duties, and claims.
File and maintain all shipping, customs, and logistics records.
7. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with food safety & quality standards in supply chain handling.
Coordinate with QA for export health certification.
Support sustainability and cost-saving initiatives in logistics.
Key Skills Needed
Knowledge of import/export procedures & customs clearance.
Strong coordination & communication skills (internal + external).
Familiarity with ERP systems / logistics software.
Problem-solving (delays, shortages, compliance issues).
Good planning, multitasking, and time management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
