Industry: Manufacturing/Production (Electronics/EMS) Working Hour: Monday to Friday Summary of the role: As a Dept Manager, responsible for monitoring overall supply chain depts - production planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistics. Review Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Daily Production Schedule (DPS). Review MPS/MRP and demand forecast to ensure materials availability meet production needs. Prompt Buyer for 3-months replenishment plan. Involve in negotiation with vendors, and identify opportunity for cost reduction. Inventory control. Vendor performance management, including subcon management. Oversee Warehouse and Logistics operations for incoming/outgoing activity and import/export shipment. Work closely with Production dept for ensuring daily/weekly production yields and identifying abnormal scenario. Work closely with Quality, Warehouse and Production depts for materials inspection, materials release and system transaction. Participate weekly meeting. Requirements: Min. 8 years of relevant working experience in supply chain function or relevant. Preferably with experience in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing industry. Min. Diploma education level or above. Required language - English, Bahasa Malaysia.
