Supply Chain Manager @ Azelis Malaysia

Mission
The ideal candidate is responsible for the productivity and efficiency of the Supply Chain and Logistics operations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze operational performance and implement solutions to create effective solutions to drive operational excellence.

Reporting Line & Location

The Supply Chain Manager will report to the Strategy and Integration Director, Azelis Malaysia.

This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and guide the Customer Service and Logistics Team to ensure operations run smoothly
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Monitor and follow up on process flow of goods and receive warehouse stock;
  • Assist on demand planning and maintain supply chain inventory and records
  • Drive and implement cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
  • Resolve possible transportation and clearance issues (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standard
  • Implementation of applicable legislation, authorizations, permits, and licenses needed for the business.
  • Communication on orders with suppliers, customers (internal and external);
  • Support the business operations on assignment basis.
  • To ensure company compliance of importing regulation, and requirements of storage license.
  • To ensure safe working environment and compliance with the Environment, Health & Safety regulation.
  • To be local supporter and work closely with our regional SHEQ for relevant matters.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business management, supply chain management, or related field;
  • Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain;
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a similar role in an international company;
  • Fluent in English is a must-have (both verbal and written communication), other languages a plus;
  • Strong analytical skills, as well as good interpersonal and organizational skills;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to collaborate with different cultures;
  • Highly organized, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Hands-on: quick to deal with problems and tackle them proactively;
  • Discretion and accuracy a must-have.
